வானவில்லே…

நீர்த்துளிகளால் ஆன வானத்தின் வண்ண ஆபரணமே;

பூமி, சொர்க்கம் இவற்றை இணைக்கிற அரை வட்ட பாலமே;

கண்களுக்கு விருந்தளிக்கும் தொட்டுணர இயலாத உருவமற்றவயே;

ஏழு அதிசயங்கள் போல் ஏழு வண்ணங்கள் கொண்டவயே;

காண்போனுக்கு ஏற்ப பல விதமாக தோன்றுகிறாயே;

காட்சி அழகையும் மீறி ஆழமான உளவியல் பொருள் கொண்டவயே;

ஒவ்வொருவரின் மனதின் உணர்ச்சிகளை பிரதிபலிக்கும் நிலைக்கண்ணாடியே;

இவ்வானவில்லை தொடுவதற்கு முன்பாக மனிதனக்குள் வாழ்கிற வானவில்லை நாம் தொட வேண்டாமா?

Translation:

RAINBOW

Oh Rainbow…

Colored ornament of the sky made of water droplets;

Semi-circular bridge connecting the earth and heaven;

Untouchable formless that feasts the eyes;

Seven colors resembling the Seven Wonders;

Multifaceted appearances according to the seers;

A deep psychological insight despite the visual beauty;

Mirror that reflects the emotions of everyone's mind;

Before touching this rainbow, should we not touch the rainbow that lives within man?
