நிறவாதம்( In Tamil Language)

என்னுடைய தோற்றத்தின் நிறத்தை

யாருக்காகவும் மாற்றிக் கொள்ள மாட்டேன்.

அதை, நான் வெளிச்சத்தில் கொண்டுவர

எந்த அவசியமும் இல்லை.

அது கருப்பு என்னும் வெளிச்சத்தில்

நன்றாகவே, தீச்சுடராகவே எரிகிறது.

என்னுடைய நிறமானது பிரமாண்டமாக

உங்களை போல போலியாக ஜொலிக்காமல்

அது பிரகாசமாக கருப்பு

என்னும் வெளிச்சத்தில் தனியாக மின்னுகிறது.

ஏன் என் நிறத்தை மாற்ற வேண்டும்?

நிறத்தை மாற்றினால் தான் என்னுடன்

பழகுவேர்கள் என்றால்,

நிறவாதம் பிடித்த உங்களின் உறவுகள்

எனக்கு வேண்டாம்

தனித்து நின்று வாழ்வேன் என்

கருப்பு நிற அடையாளத்துடன்.

ஒன்றுமட்டும் மறவாதீர்கள்!

நிறங்கள் ஒரு மனிதனின்

அகத்தை காட்டாது.

தோல்களும் சுருங்காமல்

இருக்காது இன்று போல என்றும் !

English Translation

Colour Racism

I do not wish

To change the color of

My skin for anyone.

There is no need

To bring my skin colour

To light as It is

Already shining

With the metallic black

Like the flame.

It doesn’t change its

Color like yours.

It sparkles with

The shining black

In its own world.

Why should I change my colour?

If you will talk to me

Only when I change my skin tone

I don’t wish to have a relation

With color racist people

I will live alone with the identity of

My skin tone black,with pride.

Don’t ever forget one thing,

Colours will not show the

true color of a person's heart

And someday all this skin will

Become wrinkled and old

No matter what!
