নগদ নারায়ণ

নগদ নারায়ণ,

তোমায় না দেখতে পেলে

সব'ই কেমন অন্ধকার লাগে।

কালো কালো কিসের ছায়া যেন

সারাক্ষণ'ই আপাদ্ মস্তক অনুসরণ

করে-

অদৃশ্য কোনো ভয়ে বাকরুদ্ধ হয়।

আত্মারামও খাঁচার দ্বার উন্মুক্ত করে-

জীবনের সব যুদ্ধেই তখন পরাজিত

হই।

কোথায় থাকো তুমি?

তোমার ঠিকানার খোঁজে

কত মন্দির ঘুরে বেড়াই,

সব কেমন অচেনা আর বেমানান

লাগে।

আলোচ্য ধরাধামের সব কক্ষে

তখন অনধিকার চর্চা হয়।

তোমার উপাসনায় তখন মন বসে না,

'প্রবেশ নিষেধে'র

একটা জীবন্ত পাঁচালি

গলায় গলায় ঝুলতে থাকে;

পাতিহাস,পরিহাস সব তখন

মাথার উপর বসে ঠুকরিয়ে যায়।

নগদ নারায়ণ,

জানো?

তোমায় ছোঁওয়া'র ইচ্ছায়

তোমার ধরার ইচ্ছায়

সারাক্ষণ'ই কি যেন করি-

মীন পুচ্ছের মত চোখের পাতা

ঝাপটা'ই,

কপালের সব দাগ গুলো

একে,একে ধুয়ে মুছে যায়।

মনোবিকাশ কেন্দ্রের ভদ্র সজ্জন'রা

আমায় তখন 'অসুস্থ'বলে

পরিত্যাগ করেন।

নিতান্ত পাংশু মুখে আমি

'আমিত্ব' হারানোর ভয়ে

দড়ির অলংকারে সাজার ইচ্ছে

জাগাই।

কিছু টান, পিছু টান

আর অপত্য কথার দায় বোধে

গলা ধরে আসে।

ধূসর,কৃত্তিম হাওয়া বাতাস

নাসিকা রন্ধ্রের এ'পার ও'পার হয়,

কর্ণযুগলও তখন রেহাই পায় না।

তবুও চেয়ে থাকি,দেখে ফিরি,

কোথায় প্রভু তুমি?

হে নগদ নারায়ণ,এসো বলে ডাকি।

তোমার হাতের যাদু রশ্মির পরশে

অভুক্ত আকাঙ্খাগুলো

সব সম্পূর্ণ করার শপথ নেই।
