আমরা চলি এগিয়ে

কত রঙ এর স্বপ্ন নিয়ে ।

তুমিও কি বোকা ! জীবনে

হারার চিন্তা ;

ওগো, ছোট ছোট পা - গুলি এগিয়ে গেলেই পাবে

সফলতা ।

তোমায় সে খারাপ বলে ?

তুমি তো খারাপ নয় ,

এ সমাজে কারোর কাছে

খারাপ হতেই হয় !

কাজ তো লেগেই আছে। সবাইকেই কাজ করতে হয়,

হ্যাঁ , এ জগতে কোন কাজই

ছোট নয় ।

জীবনে কি আছে তা নিয়ে দুখ?

দুঃখ কেই তুমি বানাও নিজের সুখ

জন্ম - তে দরিদ্র হওয়া তোমার দোষ নয় ,

তবে মৃত্যুর সময় দারিদ্রতা তোমার

দোষ হয় ।
