सबसे ऊपर माँ

एक स्वर एक व्यंजन लेकर

छोटा सा शब्द 'माँ ' बुना है

ईश्वर के बाद पूजनीय

चरित्र 'माँ 'चुना है

कोमल हृदय धैर्य अपार

सृष्टि में चैतन्य अवतार

हर नादानी पर, उसकी माफ़ी है

हर रिश्ते की वो सशक्त आधार

दिव्य रूप में घर की शोभा है

करती सबके कारज साकार

सिर्फ़ देना ही वो जानती है

लिया कहाँ कुछ,कभी सुना है?

एक स्वर एक व्यंजन लेकर

छोटा सा शब्द 'माँ ' बुना है

न्यौछावर कर देती पूरी जवानी

सिसकी भी आ जाती उसे,कैसे है दबानी

लड़ लेती मेरे लिए सभी से

काल यम भी डरे उसी से

अतुल्य, असाधारण 'माँ ' ही है

यही बोल तारण कहाँ बिका है?

ईश्वर के बाद पूजनीय

चरित्र 'माँ 'बुना है

जन्मदाती का कर्ज़ बड़ा है

पहली आवाज़ गले की, अक्षर अधरों पर 'माँ' गढ़ा है

अनजान अनभिज्ञ भले हो

संवारना, संभालना ये हुनर सिर्फ़ उसी ने पढ़ा है

हर समय उपलब्ध,

ना थकते कभी उसके हाथ

उसकी मेहनत ,निस्वार्थ भाव

भोर की किरणों के साथ जलते अलाव

प्यार की हांडी में धीरे-धीरे सिका है

छोटा सा शब्द 'माँ 'बुना है

माँ के होने से, साँसों में झंकार है

माँ नहीं तो ज़िंदगी भी लाचार है

उसकी चूड़ियों की खनक में,

उम्मीद के साज़ हैं

उसकी ख़ामोशियों में भी धड़कती आवाज़ है

उसकी कोशिशों से ही 'घर ' का हर फूल टिका है

पर्दे के पीछे रह कर भी उसने,

तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट की गूँज से महकता

हर शख़्स का किरदार लिखा है

अनूठी सौगात है

माँ

शख़्सियत लाजवाब है

तुम्हारे आते ही माँ का मुझे दर्जा मिला

पहला अक्षर माँ सुनते ही बहुत अच्छा लगा

उजाला बनकर आए थे आँखों की

मोह लिया बातों ही बातों में

कैसे ख़ुद को हैं संवारते

भूल गई देख तुम्हारी सब शरारतें

धीरे-धीरे वक़्त आगे बढ़ा

माँ की गोद से निकल हुआ बड़ा

ज़मीं पे गिरते उठते सीख

फ़िर हुआ खड़ा

कहीं जाओ कहीं पढ़ो

ज़िंदगी में ख़ुद की चाहे, नई पहचान गढ़ो

दुआओं में ढाल कवच बन अदृश्य रूप में भी,

माँ ने ख़ुद को जड़ा

नादान मान सब ग़लतियों को झुठलाती थी

प्यार से तुमको सिखलाती थी

बीत गई जवानी उसकी

पूरा करने को ,तुम्हारे ख़्वाब

मज़बूत इरादे,चट्टान सरीखे

पता नहीं कब दिन बीता

हुई जाने कब रात

आज चले हो मंज़िल की आशा लिए नए रास्ते

जुनून लिए ज़िंदगी तलाशते

नमी छुपा आँचल की ओट में

लड्डुओं में देती आशीर्वाद घोट के

निभाना तुम अपने वो फर्ज़

माँ का सदा ही रहता है कर्ज़

पाओगे जब जीत की खुशियाँ

भूल ना जाना , वो रंगीनी गुच्छियाँ

शहर में दूर सहूलियत भरे,घर होंगे

पर आँगन तो यहीं मिल पाएगा

खुली छतों पर पतंगे उड़ाना

बचपन यादों में खिल जाएगा

जल्दी फ़िर, तुम लौट कर आना

ममतामयी आँचल को, प्यार विश्वास से भर जाना

माँ ही पहली सीढ़ी थी,

ये सब मानते हैं

माँ ही गुरु रूप में आज भी

मुट्ठीभर ही मानते हैं

दिखता है जो कई रूपों में,एक ही अक्स

कोई और नहीं_
