सखे! तुम प्राणाधिप हो

सखे! तुम प्राणाधिप हो, सर्वस्व मेरे।

तुम्हारा-मेरा अप्रतिम बंधन,

तुम अविस्मरणीय पहचान मेरी।

तुम अतुलनीय आराध्य मेरे,

भाई-सखा-स्वामी-माता-पिता हो तुम।

ये जन्म तुम्हीं से पाया है,

फिर लौट तुम्हीं में आना है।

मिलन में विलंब कैसा?

अंततः आत्मा को परमात्मा में समाना है।

तुम मेरे, मैं तुम्हारी-

हे तुम्हें कोटिशः प्रणाम।

तुम्हारे सिवाय जाना न अन्य कोई नाम।

मैं तुम्हें आमंत्रित करती-

आओ सखे! अब प्राण तजती।

हे आराध्य! तुम आओ,

पूर्ण मनोयोग से तुम्हें पुकारा करती।

मेरा तुमसे नाता प्रगाढ़,

तुम ही मेरे अंतरंग सखा।

ये भाव तुम्हारे अनंत रंग,

सब ही में तुम अंतरंग।

हाँ, कान्हा! तुम्हारा मौन?

अब सह्य नहीं।

तुम्हारा विस्मरण होना संभव नहीं।

कहो, ना मौन तुम्हारा अब और नहीं।

जानता सखी! सह्य नहीं विरह-पीड़ा,

हाँ, आता सखी!

अब यह पीड़ा क्षण भर भी स्वीकार नहीं।

माना, तुमने बरसों प्रतीक्षा की,

सुनो, यह प्रतिज्ञा मेरी-

आता सखी! क्षण-भर की देरी

अब स्वीकार नहीं।

हाँ, मैं ही तुम्हारा सर्वस्व, सखी।
