कवितेचे शिर्षक: विचारांची कविता

विचार आला मनामध्ये-

"कुठल्या विषयावर कविता करावी?"

क्षणात दुसरा विचार हसला,

"माझ्यावरच का नाही लिहावी?"

पण विचार हा विषय नसतो,

तो मनाचा आरसा असतो;

अंतरी दडलेल्या भावनांचा

शब्दांत उमटलेला ठसा असतो.

मनातील भावांना कुठलीही भाषा नसते,

कुठलाही रंग नसतो

आपणच आपल्या भावनांनी

त्यांना शब्द आणि रंग देतो.

आधी कल्पना मनात येतात,

मग शब्द त्यांना शोधतात;

शब्दांना ओळी मिळतात,

आणि ओळी कविता होतात.

काही भाव दार ठोठावतात,

काही तरंग मनातून अलगद येतात

काही आयुष्यभर सोबत राहतात,

तर काही क्षणात विरून जातात.

कधी ते वाहतात नदीसारखे,

कधी उसळतात वादळासारखे;

कधी स्वतःलाच प्रश्न विचारतात,

कधी उभे राहतात उत्तरासारखे.

शेवटी सत्य उमगले,

कविता विषय शोधत नव्हती,

विषयच कवितेला शोधत होता,

मनाच्या वाटेवर चालत होता.

प्रत्येक ओळीत एक भाव,

शब्दस्पर्शाने हळूच फुलत होता,

स्वतःला नव्याने घडवत,

कवितेत पुन्हा उमलत होता.
