- एक कविता

इस देश का, इस कानून का कुछ होने वाला नहीं...

इस संवाद का, इस फ़रियाद का कुछ होने वाला नहीं...

मैं बोलूँ तो दिल दर्द दे, मैं कह दूँ तो मन बहके...

ऊपर से लेकर नीचे तक, आगे से लेकर पीछे तक...

लोग हैं झूठ में घुले...

भ्रष्ट भ्रष्ट है दुनिया...

भ्रष्टाचार है इन आँखों में...

भ्रष्टाचार है इन बातों में...

हर कहानी में, हर सच्चाई में भ्रष्टाचार है...

सच्ची बातों में, सच्चे विश्वास में भ्रष्टाचार है...

कोई नहीं दूध का धुला, कोई नहीं सच्चाई का पुतला...

अब तो राजा वो ही करे जो उसे छोड़े,

और प्रजा को कहे - हम हैं भ्रष्ट...

भ्रष्ट भ्रष्ट है दुनिया...

भ्रष्टाचार है उन नेताओं में...

भ्रष्टाचार है उस पब्लिक में...

हर जवानी में, हर बुढ़ापे में भ्रष्टाचार है...

खोखले वादों में, खोखले पैसों में भ्रष्टाचार है...

यहाँ ज़िंदगी से बड़े रुपए हैं...

यहाँ कमाने से ज़्यादा गँवाना है...

यहाँ भूख की क़िस्मत ज़्यादा है,

बातों से पेट भरता नहीं...

यहाँ वफ़ा को समझने में सालों साल लग जाते हैं,

आँखों से पट्टी उतरती नहीं...

भ्रष्ट भ्रष्ट है दुनिया...

भ्रष्टाचार है इस वर्दी में...

भ्रष्टाचार है इस बस्ती में...

हर सबूत में, हर प्यार में भ्रष्टाचार है...

बेवजह त्योहारों में...

बेवजह शहनाइयों में...
