‘बेख़ुदी’

मेरी ये बेख़ुदी1 ख़ुद मुझसे जानी नहीं जाती

बहुत जानी हुई सुरत भी पहचानी नहीं जाती।

हमें थी जिनकी चाहत अब हुए वो ग़ैर पे मायल2

मलाल ये है बस क्यूं उनकी नादानी नहीं जाती।

उन्हीं के दम से थी आबाद इस दूनिया की हर रौनक़

गए वो क्या के अब इस दिल की विरानी नहीं जाती।

इसी इक ग़म के मारे मुस्तरिब3 रहता हूं मैं हर पल

तसल्ली चाहे दूं जितनी पर परेशानी नहीं जाती

मैं समझूं क्या इसे लेकिन हक़ीक़त है ये अल्बत्ता

सितम बेशक वो करते हैं, मेहरबानी नहीं जाती

किसी भी हाल में हमने ‘कृष्ण’ हिम्मत नहीं हारी

हमारे हौसले को देख, हर एक की हैरानी नहीं जाती।
