बस एक लम्हा है
है

रुक जा, ठहर जा,
ज़रा साँस तो ले,
जिंदगी तेरी है,
पर पूरी है- ये किसने कहा?
अधूरी है- ये किसने कहा?
जो आज है,
वो कल नहीं होगा,
ये जानना बेहद ज़रूरी है।
हर बदलता हुआ पल
अपने भीतर एक नई कहानी लिए होता है।
एक बात सुन,
ध्यान लगाकर मेरी-
ये जो दर्द है न,

ये तो बस एक लम्हा है,
जिसने तुझे कुछ पल के लिए
तुझसे ही दूर कर दिया है।
तू अकेला है-
ये किसने कहा?
वो जो सबका अपना है,
वो जो सबका सपना है,
वो जो हर इंसान के भीतर
एक उम्मीद बनकर रहता है-
वो तेरे खिलाफ है,

आज की नहीं तो कल की,
लिखी है एक नई कहानी
तेरे पूरे जीवन की ।
पन्ने अभी बाकी हैं,
और शायद सबसे खूबसूरत
सुबह अभी बाकी है।
हर लम्हा आसान होगा-
ये किसने कहा?
मगर मुश्किलों के बीच भी
उम्मीद रखना
तेरा हक़ तो है।

तू बस नादान है-

जिसने सोच लिया
कि जीवन आसान है।
तेरी गलती नहीं है इसमें,
तेरे भी तो कुछ अरमान हैं,
कुछ सपने अधूरे हैं,
कुछ रास्ते अनजान हैं।
तो बस थोड़ा ठहर,
खुद को फिर से पहचान।
क्योंकि ये अंत नहीं,
सिर्फ़ एक ठहरा हुआ पल है-
