पागल हूँ मैं

कभी शोर पागल कर देता है

तो कभी शौक पागल कर देता है

पागल तो तुम भी हो

और पागल, हम भी हैं

बचपन से खाली कमरा मेरा,

मुझे वो खाली कमरा, पागल कर देता है

खैर, अब तो आदत हो गई है

घर आता हूँ, अपने हैं सब

पर मन नहीं लगता

और दोस्त, बनाता नहीं

आखिर सच कहता हूँ

पागल हो गया हूँ मैं

आज सबा बज गया, कल तो चार बजे थे

लेटे-लेटे, खाली मन को मैं, पागल कर देता हूँ

मैं मैया से प्यार करता हूँ, उसे बता, नहीं पाता,

बस उसकी याद में, अपनी आंखें, पानी-पानी कर देता हूँ

आखिर पागल हूँ मैं, बोल नहीं पाता,

कलम वरदान है, उससे ही बयां, कर देता हूँ

कुछ लोगों को चाहता हूँ, मगर, रोक नहीं पाता

आखिर में सब कुछ, जुदा, कर ही देता हूँ मैं

दिव्य हूँ मैं, नाम है मेरा

पर पता नहीं, अंत में उदास, कर ही देता हूँ मैं

बस इतना ही कहूंगा कि

पागल हूँ मैं, पागल हूँ मैं, बस पागल हूँ मैं
