निर्लज्ज आँसू

मैंने आँसूओं से कहा, बड़े निर्लज्ज हो तुम,

बिना पूछे, बिना कहे कहीं भी निकल पड़ते हो,

कभी दर्द बनकर आते हो, कभी खुशी बनकर छाते हो,

कभी बरसों के दबे दर्द को मवाद बनकर बहाते हो।

गरीब के गालों पर अपना पता छोड़ जाते हो,

माँ की छलछलाती आँखों में प्यार बनकर आते हो।

कभी विश्वास जगाते हो तो कभी, भावातिरेक बस यूँ ही चले आते हो।

पर जब भी आते हो, मन पर छाए कुहासे की,

एक हल्की परत उतार् ही जाते हो।

आँखों से तुम्हारा बहना, ये सिर्फ पानी नहीं है।

न जाने कितने बरसों से सहेजे दर्द का आखरी किनारा हो।

मेरी बातों पर आँसू भरी आँखों में मुस्कराया,

बड़ी सहजता से बोला, “मैं निर्लज्ज नहीं हूँ,

मेरी सत्यता को निर्लज्जता से मत आँको।

सच्चा हूँ, इसीलिए बिना किसी आवरण के आता हूँ।

मुझे छलना नहीं आता, इसीलिए बेबाक कहीं भी निकल जाता हूँ।

कुछ सोच कर फिर कहने लगा, निर्लज्ज तो यह मुस्कान है। (2)

जो मुखौटा पहन कर जब चिपकती है,

तो चेहरे को अपनी धरणी मानकर, ऐसे कब्ज़ा करती है,

कि दुनिया की आँखों में धूल झोंकने का काम,

सिर्फ एक मुस्कान में कर देती है।

आँसू की बातों पर चुप बैठी मुस्कान मुस्कराई, धीमे से बोली,

क्या सिर्फ तुम दर्द दिखा सकते हो,

तुम दर्द दिखाते हो, तो मैं दर्द छुपाती हूँ।

तुम्हें देखकर लोग समझ लेते हैं, और मुझे समझने की कोशिश करते हैं।

आँसू तुम निर्लज्ज नहीं हो, निर्लज्ज वो हालात हैं,

जो तुम्हें निकलने को मजबूर करते हैं।

मैं तो तुम्हें बस दुनिया से छिपाने का काम करती हूँ।

दुनिया की आँखों में धूल झोंकने का काम,

बस एक मुस्कान में कर देती हूँ, बस एक मुस्कान में कर देती हूँ।
