निमित्तमात्र

निघाल्या वाटेवर अंधार आहे

हे माहीत असूनी जो निघाला

तो झुंजार आहे

झाल्या जखमा

पडले व्रण

डोळे सरसावले आता

सोबतीच आता अंधार आहे

चुकल्या वाटा,वाटा चुकल्या

वाटा बरोबर आता खुणावती

"चालत राहा तू पुढे निघ"

त्यांचा माझ्या शी संवाद आहे

संवादात माझ्या प्रश्न माझा

"मी कुठे थांबणार आहे ?"

आलाच आहेस सोबती

तुला एकटा कुठे टाकणार आहे ?

लोक म्हणतात

"अंधार संपेल कुठेतरी "

म्हणून कदाचित तो सोबत आला आहे

संपयाचंच असेल त्याला

माझं निमित्त शोधत आहे

पण मला त्याला संपवायचं नाही

जपून ठेवायचं आहे

सांगायचं आहे त्याला

मी तुला भीत नाही

कारण

माझ्यातला प्रकाश बाहेर नाही

माझ्या आत आहे

(Translation)

The reason

He who walks the path of darkness knowing it's dark is a warrior.

In this battle there are wounds and

also some scars.

Those eyes, always searching

in the darkness; his companion.

He lost his path, the path lost its way.

It tells him "keep moving forward"

indicating him to go ahead.

He asks himself "where am I going to stop?"

How will he be left alone when darkness is with him?

People say "darkness will eventually end"

He wonders if it is with him because it wants to end?

Maybe he is just a medium for it?

But he doesn't want to end it.

He wants to care for it.

He wants to tell it he is not afraid of it, because the light in him is within him.
