‘निगाह’

बरसात में घुला सा रंग-ए-आबशार1 है

तेरे शहर में फिर ये कौन अश्कबार२ है

हम तुम चले थे जिस राह पे बनके हमक़दम

उस रास्ते में दूर तक बस ग़ुबार ही ग़ुबार है

होती क्यूं पशेमान३ मेरे दिल को तोड़ कर

वो जानती है उसको ये भी इख़्तियार है

मौसम भी उस निगाह के मोहताज हो गए

बस देख ले वो जिधर उधर बहार ही बहार है

भर तो गए थे ज़ख़्म दिए ज़िन्दगी ने जो

छू कर मगर लगा अभी दर्द बरक़रार है

यक़ीं जब ना रहा ‘कृष्ण’ ख़ुद पर भी मुझे

तेरी हरेक बात पर क्यूं मुझे एतबार है।
