तुम में

तुम आती जाती श्वास प्रिये,

मेरा मन स्थिर सिर्फ़ तुम में।

तुम चंचल हृदय हो प्रिये,

मेरे धड़कन की ध्येय तुम में।

क्या करना जग सारा पाके?

जितना पाना,

उतना खोना,

क्या ही जाना है लेके?

ना ढंग, ना धन, ना धान।

ले जाऊं आत्मा में बस तेरा ध्यान।

ताकि ढूँढलूँ तुझे इस पार से उस पार तक।

होगा पाना, ना पाना, सब फ़िरसे किस्मत।

तो जैसा अभी है,

क्या ऐसा पहले भी था?

सिर्फ़ इस जनम का खेल है,

या पाके पहले भी है खोया?

और ढूँढ लिया है तुम्हे इस बार भी,

या मिले ही नहीं हम पहले कभी?

और ढूँढ लूँगी तुझे हर बार ही,

या मिलोगे तुम कभी भी नहीं?

क्योंकि

तुम अविराम प्राण प्रिये,

मेरा जीवन संभव है तुम में।

तुम तांडव तरंग प्रिये,

मेरी लास्य लयकार तुम में।

शिव हो तुम

क्या मैं तेरी पार्वती?

या बचा है अभी

मेरा होना सती?

या बनके रहजाऊंगी मैं गंगा शिरोमणी?

सराहनीय और सम्मानित,

पर नहीं अर्धांगिनी!

प्रेम अपार रहेगा फ़िर भी मेरा,

बहती रहूँ, खोजती तेरा किनारा।

क्योंकि

तुम ही श्वास हो प्रिये,

मेरा तन - मन सब तुम में।

तुम ही हृदय हो प्रिये,

मेरा प्रेम अर्थ और व्यर्थ सिर्फ़ तुम में।
