जाने क्यों…

जाने क्यों

ससुराल में

ज़िंदगी जीना

इतना मुश्किल नज़र आता है …

हर छोटी सी बात में

इतना बवाल बन जाता है

इतनी घुटन होती है

हर साँस में

हजारों बेचैनियाँ हैं

होता है जब ससुराल ही

एक लड़की का अपना घर

तो क्यों

वहाँ जीना आराम से

इतना मुश्किल हो जाता है

क्यों लोग कहते हैं

माँ-बाप जैसे ही होते हैं सास-ससुर भी

फिर क्यों

व्यवहार में बदलाव नजर आता है

ज़ुबान से “बेटा-बेटा” कहने वाले लोग

दिल में ज़हर रखते हैं भर के

सामने से अच्छे

और पीठ फिरते ही

बुराई करते नज़र आते हैं

क्यों

ये मोड़ आता है

जहाँ ज़िंदगी में

सब कुछ अपना होकर भी

पराया सा लगता है

कोई ना जाने कि क्यों

हर बात इतनी खटकती है दिल में

क्यों हर रोज़

एक नया ज़ख्म नज़र आता है

कैसे हर लड़की कि जिंदगी में

एक ऐसा मोड़ आता है

जहाँ उसे अपनी ही

किस्मत में

यूँ गड्ढे नज़र आते हैं

है ज़िंदगी सादगी का नाम

तो फिर

किस तरह से जीवन

इतना मुश्किल नज़र आता है

जाने किस घड़ी में

कुछ रिवाज़ बने होंगे

किसने सोचा होगा ये सब

या बस ख़याल ही

हक़ीक़त बने होंगे

कभी कभी तो

कुछ सोचना भी

पाप नज़र आता है

जब हर तरफ़

कड़वाहटें हैं दिलों में इतनी

फिर क्यों

ज़ुबान पर कुछ लोगों की

दिखावटी मिठास नज़र आती है

ज़िंदगी की हर घूँट

यहाँ कड़वी बन जाती है

ये दिल बेचैन है

आँखों में

ख़ौफ़ का साया है

हर मंज़र दूर से ही

बुरा सा नज़र आया है

अक्सर यहाँ पर

लोग बदलते नहीं सोच अपनी

हर वजह खुद देते हैं कड़वाहट की

और बेवजह इल्ज़ाम फिर

दूसरों पर लगाते हैं

कैसे करते हैं इतना फर्क

कि

अपनी बेटी के सपने अलग

और दूसरों की बेटी का

सपने देखना भी उन्हें

गुनाह नज़र आता है

हैरान हूँ मैं ये देखकर कि

“बेटी” कह के लोग

जिसे घर में लाते हैं

उसे हर रोज़ सताने में

उन्हें मज़ा नज़र आता है

जब अपना ही घर है ससुराल भी

तो साज़िशों का क्यों

इतना मंज़र यहाँ नज़र आता है

हर बात में

शक नज़र आता है

क्या है वजह जो

लोगों को तकलीफ़ होती है

दूसरों को खुश देखकर

या फिर

किसी को सताना ही

उन्हें अपना ख़्वाब नज़र आता है

कैसे बयान करूँ

दर्द-ए-दिल को मैं

यहाँ तो

एक औरत ही

दूसरी औरत की

दुश्मन बन जाती है

इंसानियत कहीं खो जाती है

जब बात यहाँ पर

किसी और की बेटी की नज़र आती है

क्यों आँखों में सबकी

हर पल यहाँ

झूठ नज़र आता है

धोखा नज़र आता है

हर बात में

साज़िश नज़र आती है

कैसे समझाऊँ कि

यक़ीन करना किसी पर

इतना मुश्किल क्यों लगता है

लोग हर पल यहाँ

दूसरों को नीचा दिखाते हैं

और फिर घमंड उन्हें

दूसरों में नज़र आता है

इतनी कमियाँ जब वो ढूँढ लेते हैं

किसी एक इंसान में

तो फिर बेवजह क्यों

उनके ही साथ रहना

उन्हें

अपनी शान नज़र आता है

हर बीते दिन के साथ

इस दलदल में जीना

और मुश्किल हो जाता है

लोग खुद किसी को इज़्ज़त देते नहीं

और फिर बे-इज़्ज़त होना उन्हें

अपनी तौहीन नज़र आता है

इतनी शिकायतें हैं यहाँ

फिर भी कैसी मजबूरियाँ हैं

कि जीना यहाँ संस्कार बन जाता है

और

मरना भी एक ख्याल नज़र आता है

फिर भी रहना यहीं

एक मजाक नज़र आता है

हर गुजरते हुए लम्हें के साथ

ज़िंदगी को जीना

एक एहसान नज़र आता है

खुद पर ही तरस आता है

और दिल यहाँ

हर पल में

बेहाल नज़र आता है

खुशी के लिए

शादी करते हैं लोग

तो फिर क्यों

ग़म यहाँ पर

हर पल नज़र आता है

आँखों में होनी चाहिए

चमक खुशी की

तो फिर क्यों

नमी नज़र आती है

जाने क्यों

जीना यहाँ

इतना मुश्किल नज़र आता है !!!!!
