🖤 गर्द-ए-वक़्त 🖤

तुम्हारी आख़िरी सांस के बस एक घंटे बाद,

रसोई में फिर वही चूल्हा जल जाएगा।

आँखों की नमी थमे या न थमे इस मोड़ पर,

मगर वक़्त अपना बेदर्द फ़र्ज़ निभा जाएगा।

दूसरे दिन अफ़सोस के कुछ लफ़्ज़ होंगे,

तीसरे दिन बातें ज़रा कम हो जाएँगी।

कुछ आँसू दामन पर गिरकर सूख जाएँगे,

फिर सब अपनी-अपनी दुनिया में लौट जाएँगे।

चौथे दिन जब राख भी ठंडी हो चुकी होगी,

घर के कोनों में हँसी का दौर फिर लौट आएगा।

तस्वीर पर तुम्हारी जो हार चढ़ाया गया था,

वो मुरझाकर चुपके से ज़मीन पर गिर जाएगा।

एक हफ़्ते में तुम्हारी उस कुर्सी पर,

कोई और आकर ख़ामोशी से बैठ जाएगा।

दफ़्तर की इन बेजान फ़ाइलों को क्या फ़र्क़ पड़ता है,

कि कौन यहाँ से चला गया और कौन नया आएगा।

एक महीने में तुम्हारा एक-एक सामान बंट जाएगा,

कुछ यादें पुराने संदूक में सो जाएँगी।

जिन्हें तुम जान से प्यारा समझते थे, वो चीज़ें,

बाज़ार की धूल में औने-पौने दामों में खो जाएँगी।

छह महीने में तुम्हारे कमरों के रंग बदलेंगे,

अलमारियों से तुम्हारा अक्स तक हटा दिया जाएगा।

जो ज़मीन, जो बैंक-खाते तुम समेटते रहे उम्र भर,

उन काग़ज़ों पर किसी और का दस्तख़त चमकेगा।

एक साल…

और तुम्हारा वजूद भी,

वक़्त की इस गर्द (धूल) में दफ़्न हो जाएगा।

कैलेंडर में सिर्फ़ एक तारीख़ बची रह जाएगी,

जिसे शायद ही कोई कभी याद लाएगा।

और तुम…

तमाम उम्र इसी उलझन में जलते रहे,

“लोग क्या कहेंगे?”

लोग?

लोग तो अपनी-अपनी ज़िंदगी की जंग में,

पहले ही अंदर से टूटे हुए हैं।

तो फिर किस बात का डरना और किस बात का रोना,

जब इस झूठी दुनिया से एक दिन ख़ाली हाथ ही है जाना।

दुनिया की परवाह छोड़, उठ और अपनी मंज़िल का रास्ता बना,

जीत ऐसी हासिल कर कि वक़्त भी मजबूर हो जाए तेरा लोहा मानना।

मत रोक अपने क़दमों को इन फ़िज़ूल के ख़ौफ़ की ख़ातिर,

तू अपनी कहानी का ख़ुद सुल्तान है, नहीं कोई मुसाफ़िर।

लिख दे अपनी मेहनत से एक ऐसा नया इतिहास यहाँ,

कि जाने के बाद भी सदियों तक गूँजता रहे तेरा ही नाम यहाँ।

इसलिए ऐ नादान दिल,

अब और दुनिया की रुसवाई का बोझ मत उठा।

थोड़ी ख़ुद से मोहब्बत कर,

थोड़ा ख़ुद को भी गले लगा।

क्योंकि…

जब आख़िर में सब को भूल ही जाना है,

तो कम से कम,

तू ख़ुद से तो बेवफ़ाई मत कर। 🖤
