क्योंकि तुम हो'

क्योंकि तुम हो

गुमसुम से थे गुपचुप से थे, इस आदम दुनिया में बिल्कुल अकेले थे। (2)

कि जब एक हल्की सी आहट से तुम आए,

तुम्हारे आने का एहसास तो था, पर इस तरह से सोचा न था।

अनछुए अरमानों में उठती हिलोर बता रही थी कि मैं ज़िंदा हूँ, (2)

ज़िंदा थे जज़्बात अभी भी।

ज़िंदगी का यह पहलू तुमने दिखाया,

मुझमें मेरे होने का अहसास दिलाया,

कतरा-कतरा ज़िंदगी को समेट कर इस तरह सँवारा, कि खिल उठा तन-मन।। (2)

सजती हूँ, सँवरती हूँ, (2) इठलाती हूँ खुद पर,

क्योंकि जानती हूँ, कि तुम सिर्फ और सिर्फ मेरे हो।

वक्त रेत सा फिसल रहा था,(2) कुछ छूटता सा जा रहा था।

डर नहीं था मौत का, (2) पर तुमसे बिछड़ने का दुःख अभी से साल रहा था।

बहुत कुछ था कहने सुनने को,(2) तुम्हें बताने को।

परsss

खैर, खुश हूँ, बहुत खुश।

जो था अच्छा था, मेरा था। जो होगा अच्छा होगा।

जो कुछ भी पाया उसका कारण तुम थे।

आज मैं, मैं हूँ, क्योंकि तुम हो।

तुम हो, और सिर्फ मेरे हो।

सिर्फ मेरे ....।
