काग और काशी

*काग और काशी*
खुद को देख रही हूँ मैं,
पर कोई शीशा नहीं है,
शांत सी हूँ,
और साँसें थम गई हैं।
सब बैठे हैं मेरे करीब,
रो रहे हैं,
जो कहा नहीं समय रहते,
वो बातें कह रहे हैं।
नहला-धुलाकर,
नये वस्त्र मिले हैं,
पर अब उतनी खुशी नहीं है।
पैर बाँध दिए हैं फिर से,
नाक में रुई डाल दी है,
पर अब कोई घुटन नहीं है।
अब अंतिम क्षण देह के अपने,
मैं देखती हूँ काग बनकर,
इस काशी के घाट पर खड़ी सामान्य मैं।
अग्नि से देह की राख,
उस राख का गंगा में बह जाना,
सब देखती हूँ मैं,
स्वयं के अंतिम संस्कार में हिस्सा लेते हुए।
