इंद्रधनुष

मैं खुद को इस कलम से कैसे लिखूँ

इस कागज़ पे, खुद को कैसे रखूँ

या मैं लिखूँ उस न्याय को जो मिला नहीं

या उस सम्मान को जो समझ के दिया नहीं।

क्यों मैं हर कागज़ पर स्त्री होने का,

पुरुष होने का या होने का मात्र "अन्य"

कोई भी प्रमाण लिखूँ।

पर लेखक हूँ, तो लिखता हूँ

लिखता हूँ कहानियाँ जो तुमने सुनी नहीं,

लिखता हूँ वो किस्से, वो जुबानियाँ जो खो गई कहीं।

जैसे देखते सभी मुझे, वैसा आईने में खुद को

नहीं मैं दिखता हूँ।

लिखूँ मैं वो जो हर कोई हर रोज़ सुनता हूँ,

ना किसी से कह पाता हूँ

या वो जो मैं हर दिन सहता हूँ।

आसमां सारा है, इतना सारा, पूरा

फिर क्यों केवल इंद्रधनुष लिखूँ मैं

और सारे रंगों में से सिर्फ सात चुनूँ मैं।

लिखता हूँ मैं बस नाम

जिनसे तुम मुझको पुकारते हो और पुकारोगे।

नामर्द, मीठा और न जाने क्या

ही बोलते तुम, लोगो को मुझे सुनाओगे।

क्यों लिखूँ मैं यह कविता, जो तुम न पढ़ना चाहोगे,

पढ़कर दो बस नाम, शीर्षक मस्त।

तुम घृणा से भर जाओगे।

चलो, तो लिखता हूँ मैं बस इन प्रश्नों

के उत्तर सब, जो तुम जानना चाहोगे।

लिखता हूँ मैं बस नाम

जिनसे तुम मुझको पुकारते हो और पुकारोगे।

नामर्द, मीठा और न जाने क्या

ही बोलते तुम, लोगो को मुझे सुनाओगे।

कहते हो न तुम कि मैं इस संस्कृति का हिस्सा नहीं हूँ।

तो वहीं से शुरू करता हूँ।

महाभारत में शिखंडी का

लिंग परिवर्तन और विवाह पढ़ता हूँ।

विष्णु का मोहिनी बन शिव की प्रेमिका पढ़ता हूँ।

पद्म पुराण में दो स्त्रियों के मिलाप से

“भगीरथ” का जन्म पढ़ता हूँ।

अर्जुन के अज्ञातवास में लिंग प्रवाहिता पढ़ता हूँ।

फिर क्यों मैं आज भी

सम्मान और मिलन के लिए लड़ता हूँ।

प्रेम को मेरे तुम अपवित्र कहते हो,

ना कोई अधिकार देते हो,

बात भी मेरी नहीं सुनते हो,

यूँ मुड़-मुड़ कर अपराधी सा मुझको देखते हो।

किस बात की सजा देते हो?

क्या मुझे मारना चाहते हो!

माना कि हूँ मैं अलग तुमसे,

पर गलत तो नहीं।

हाँ, मैं समलैंगिक, पुरुष-स्त्री, त्रिनेत्री या कुछ भी,

लड़ाई ही सही, है ये मेरे अस्तित्व का सार।

हूँ मैं भी तो इंसान ही,

फिर क्यों कपड़ों को, भाषा को, लिंगता को छोड़कर

मुझको देखते नहीं।

नहीं रहना मुझको इन सीमाओं में,

कैद इस इंद्रधनुष के रंगों में।

मुझको मेरे ख्वाबों का एक पूरा आसमा चाहिए,

मुझको हर रंग से प्रेम चाहिए।

एक अस्तित्व, प्रतिभा और सम्मान अभिवेदन चाहिए।

मुझको सूरज की किरणें चाहिए,

चंद्रमा की लालिमा चाहिए,

वर्षा की पहली बूंदें चाहिए,

अंत-हिन तारामंडल चाहिए,

सिर्फ इंद्रधनुष ही नहीं,

मुझको समस्त ब्रह्मांड चाहिए।
