I remember, celebrate and rejoice your b’day

Coz the day you came into my life

You made me look at the world I grew up in differently

And made me rediscover myself

And find things and meanings within me that are previously unknown

And have instigated and provoked me to love you, hate you, envy you and long for you.

Though the distance between us has grown with time

But the memories we created together are still close to my heart

The moments we laughed

The moments we quarreled

And the moments we were there for each other

Are etched so deep into my heart

That it’s hard not to remember them but to forget them

So are you.
