You Said Ignore

I lived with a mask,

Within me was dark.

For the sadness I wore-

You said ignore.

Further grew the dark,

Within me it grew an empire.

Everything would have been fine before,

But you were a liar-

So, you said ignore.

Now, when I remove this mask so sad-

I see my desired my past.

What it could be,

If I hadn’t ignored my being.
