You prepare a table before me

You prepare a table before me

In the presence of my enemy,

Where my anxiety and fears sit

And try to steal my serenity.

You prepare a table before me

You know my every need,

You're fully aware of my enemies

And the armor I need to succeed.

The enemy is not outside it's deep within

Whispering I'm not good enough,

But you anoint me with oil to open my eyes and see you clearly in times so tough.

You prepare a table before me

I'm so honored, humbled and grateful

That a God so great and almighty can think of me, isn't that just thoughtful?

You prepare a table before me

I'm stronger now for I feel Your incredible love,

I surrender daily and I trust you fully, for my armor can only come from above.
