You, me &Moon
By Shagun
I wait all day for the sun to leave,
to watch the moon reciting the news I want to receive.
Before I ask the moon how my lover has been doing,
it goes on and on, keeping me wooing.
He compares me with his light,
and says, love in your eyes shines so bright.
I want a lover, someone like you,
who keeps asking the same questions about someone who doesn't have a clue.
Every day when the sun sets to let me breathe,
I gather up all my courage hidden underneath.
Every night I come to tell,
he's not the one for you to dwell.
You talk about him and he talks about someone else,
seeing you two cry even makes my frosted heart melt.
I don't know who to blame,
because, at some point, you both are the same.
Somehow, if I become transparent, you both might see,
you both are the same to some degree.
But no one could intervene between love and fate,
sometimes you do end up with a real one very late.
I would hope for you two to be one,
and someday we would talk to each other in an excited tone.
But for now, let me tell you,
he's not at all thinking about you.
