I was thinking how time flies by,

It didn't seem possible at first,

By I didn't even know when I said my last goodbye.

And today, I know,

You'll never be home again.

You have left behind lots of love and also some pain.

Holding your hand and playing with you,

You bringing for me something new,

I didn't know when you had days left only few,

Had I known I would have spent with you all the time due.

But you'll never be home again.

I'll never get to receive your call again..

Or see you enter our lane..

I'll never hear you speak..

Or your advice seek.

The sound of your voice will fade..

But in my heart forever will stay,

The memories we made,

Through each night and day.

Or ever ring again this bell.

But I just keep wishing for some time more,

Just for that all my riches I'd sell..

A final good bye,

Knowing I'll not see you soon again.

Until then I'll make a note of all things I had to say.

One day we'll be together again.
