i killed you in my dreams one time

and i wasn't meaning to;

sequin skies, sequin skies.

i wear her like a dress

and it isn't black i think.

i'm not going to your funeral

i'm just coming back home.


there's ash in my hair

i know you smell it too.

my head's on fire in

the living room

and we won't put it out

we'll just watch the news.





we don't know how to extinguish

housefires we just understand

that i've started too many.

i'll dye my hair red today.

i'll call you later.

goodnight, good morning,


you buy me some plums,

they're the sweetest i've had this month
