You And Me

By Amisha Tiwari

As the days unfurl in front of me,

There is beauty filled with glee,

Strangers that turn family are the best,

The strength of love is far from the rest.

My eyes never ditched from your sight,

Even when my heart sank deep because of a fight,

The word sang melancholy weird,

Opposing the feelings of being feared.

I cherished every shade of hue,

For I was never full of you,

I’m glad that our paths crossed,

Though after Dawdling in the frost.

We were together to flourish,

Enshrined to be nourished.
