Yesterday’s Rain

I couldn't hear anything anymore

Because of the heavy rain and thunder strikes

But yet I kept staring at her from a distance

There was something about this rain and her

Something about this wait

I didn't want this to end

I wanted to freeze the time and if possible

Turn the clock in reverse to go back in time

Or hold her hands and dance through this rain

Like there is no tomorrow

I can hear the rhythm of love in this chose

People moving around like the water molecules

Lost from its very essence of being

Wish my hands were not tied by the constrains

The very constrains enforced by this universe

Wish I had some more time with her

Wish I could hug her and tell her what she means to me

Right now at this very moment

But I am scared

Am scared she will be uncomfortable with my touch

And then may be treat me completely stranger again

I won't be able to bare that pain

So I let it be

I cherished this moment for what it is

Allowing her to float through this water like the wind

Invisible yet free flowing
