Yes I am Boring

They tried their best to paint a picture.

It was crowded with high pitch noises.

With all the people who were so random.

So I decided to stay away from their voices.

Then I told my story for them to hear.

The word ‘Boring’ was what they made it clear.

Please do explain the term ‘interesting’.

Does it mean partying on a daily basis.

Or Alcohol, fume and all night clubbing.

And lust with women without truly dating.

If that is what their unspoken truth is ….

Yes then I will call myself boring.

I am Boring,

because I prefer calm and quiet rhythms.

Because I adore late night hangouts,

on a Rooftop, with my close peers.

No plans, just to talk about life.

I love literature, poetry and art.

I embrace people who remembers little things.

And if that tallies, then yes, I am Boring.

I am fine with people walking away.

If ‘Boring’ is what makes them not play.

I will be bored by myself today.

Until I find another boring soul to stay.
