Years Of Seasons; A Wait For Spring (Part 2)

And how so, in the cold, long wait, it survived ?

And the lakes now, cleared of snow and ice..

You were awake in my essence..

Is that why, I saw

Your favourite season passing by ?

Days passed or years have?

For no track of time is all I have

And they still complain of no flowers that bloom

Those that used to bloom in the snow too..

But didn’t they say the sun was warm enough too?

Life getting away from the fluffy white chains

The snow is melting into spring again

Of my await, it answers

Every year bits of my being it ransoms

And the deal is in no coins, yet I deal

But like always, only to bloom nothing but gloom..

One more closer step to emptying my whole

And so, how do I refuse ?

When the spring still sings me of you

But now to bid adieu..

I have run out of my scratches for the debit

Because what do I do?

When spring will come back again

And never will you..

Painting a canvas the whole sky

She turned her shredded feathers

Into colouring pens

Wingless but she soared

Through the abyss of it all

Wore her scars like jewels

Exhausted by hate but she then wept

Hate was an ocean of love, that once rained

Because she was torn apart by all familiar hands

Healing, a mirage that played her

No matter how steady on the tend

Shredded wings can’t mend

—Healing is dressing in your scars

Until they are worn
