Words Unsaid
By Surya Prasanna Bharani Sannidhanam
We are all ears, they say
Yet insist we keep our emotions inside.
Be true, they say
The world doesn’t need to know about how u feel, they correct.
They are all ears they say.
Yet, millions of words hang unsaid in the air.
Wisdom is for others, they never care.
Is her aggression a quality or a consequence?
Isn’t an introvert the unsought story?
Is silence in his nature or his inopportunity?
Maybe it was not because they were unsaid, but maybe because they were unheard;
By that one person who never bothered to listen or see or acknowledge.
Windows or shut, doors are closed,
Walls are built, with tears she dozed.
Truth, is detested.
Reality is rejected.
Feeling unseen,
eyes unread.
Solutions are far from what she wants,
She was capable and strong.
Just a person who can hear her out,
A person who can set her free,
From her anger and jealousy.
However, the tongue was more preferred here, she realized,
Although only one, it shut down the 2 ears and closed both eyes.
