All the words swirling inside her head

Called to her to put them down

What should I do with you, she asked

Pour you out gently like the melodies in a song

Or just let myself bleed while giving life to you all?

May be I will just ignore you,

keep you locked deep inside my mind

Where you would be the most hard to find

And so she did exactly what she said

Kept the words hidden away

But the words were crafty and persistent

They kept hammering at her every waking moment

We will not let you sleep, we will not let you wake

We will torment you till you heed to what we say

And keep on emerging until you go completely mad

But I don't know what to do with you, she cried

I have tried and I have tried, but all I do is get you all jumbled.

Whoever said you had to perfect, we only want to be free

Give us life, give us voice, give us power any way you can

Because we are a part of you, even when you won't acknowledge us

So she answered their never ending call

Did what they wanted her to do and let them have her all

At first she stumbled and then slowly began to crawl

Still she kept at it when the dusk turned to dawn

Until finally there was peace at last.
