Within Their Eyes

Falling

Within their eyes

The face of their minds

And the face of they

Whose truth is wrong

Masked by the right

In the light of the song

Thrown into the lone

They too hold the tone

Through words and songs

They speak and sing

Screams and tears

They feel and swing

But when the rain fades into the light

And the smell of life

Overtakes the night

Do they smile and see the shine?

Do they jump and feel the skies?

Or do they fall

Back

Within their eyes?
