The all the hollowness, you endowed me..

is really so close to my heart,

just like those gifts, you wrapped for me,

“with love” -

That fragrance of happiness,

the words of care.

Heart full of love,

which I would have barely spared!

That touch of trust,

those giggles and tears.

That thrust

to rise high, without fears.

The wisdom, the confidence-

to fight and survive

any challenges,

and that vision to analyse.

Those moments, when you were there

I used to adhere..

Everything I will treasure!

In my memories,

Deep they will stay!

You coloured my world,

Dazzled my way.

I may not return all your favours

but an honour,

a promise I can make-

All those priceless endowments,

will be buried with me,

safely in my heart,

Beneath the earth!
