Witches And Warlocks
By Ansh Thakur
I shall dread a beast, I shall fear a monster
Be a witch’s feast, or a warlock’s foster.
I shall burn in hell, I shall waste in heaven
Be a noxious spell, or writhe in infernos seven.
I shall raze in contempt, I shall raise in malice
Be a bait to tempt, or a prey to the callous.
I shall feat the dark, I shall flunk the light
Be a life so stark, that I shall consume the night.
I shall betray the angel, I shall love the devil
Be a faithless stranger, in the eyes of evil.
I shall taste the blood, I shall feel the scar
Be a ruin in flood, or a falling star.
Therefore,
I don’t dread the beast, I don’t fear the monster
Nor the witch’s feast, or the warlock’s foster
I dread myself, my own brutality
As I can be the monster, I can part with morality.
