Wisteria

I raise my hand to touch
All of Heaven’s beauty combined such
A purple valley of delight
Foresee a Future so bright
Why, Wisteria, why?
Why do you shed all your Happiness?
For all ungrateful humans to receive
What do you get in return
for all your tenderness?
The purple tears get caught
By the playful winds
Thus, does it travel on golden wings
And my extended hand touches
Those petals, moulded of pure joy
A tree of material so selfless
O mourning Wisteria,
Your selfless sacrifices
Your broken happiness
All within me
I lie on your trunk
Able to hoist myself up no more
Your broken happiness brings joy
woven of sunlight, moonlight, and starlight
As I drift into an endless sleep,
I look up to your coiling locks
As I breathe the fresh air
Purified by your endless filter of sorrow
I look up to the sky for one last time
And I pass on
Pass on to the realms of oblivion
Falling through an endless void
Forever, forever overjoyed.
