Wishes To My Well Wisher

Know not either to call Apollo

Or Aphrodite to bless thee

Know not to invoke which muse

To compose a lay for thee

Shall I call either Skylark

Or Nightingale to make a tune for you ?

Live long as the plays of Shakespeare

Or the poems of Donne

Smile like either Wordsworth’s Daffodils

Or Dutt’s Lotus as you wish

Might have the solitary reaper sang

About you , that Wordsworth failed to know

The blessed Damozel may bless you

With her stars of seven along

With the lilies of three .

If Da Vinci had seen thee

There was no Monalisa at all .

May the goddess of dawn Aurora

Wish you with youth and

Immortality unlike for Tithonus

Thou are the Helen in disguise

Thy nature is of Shakespeare’s Portia

Let be free from the evil serpents

May you be stayed in the Garden of

Eden with the blessings of Christ

Along with the wishes of mine .
