As i watch the trees sway

My thoughts are put at bay;

I wonder if they wanna say

That life is all about gentle play

We often fight for yes and nay

Until our hair have grown grey;

But we forget to silently pray

For the goodness of each others day

Shouldn’t we be like the golden ray

That brightens the night how dark it may;

Must we be busy making some real hay

Instead of keeping each other happy and yay

We seldom realise that happiness does lay

In accepting everyone in their purest way;

For it's not tough saying ‘it's okay’

When you are desperately dying to slay
