Winter Is Coming

Dec 28, 2022

Now that October ends,

and with it

the pomp,

lights and festivities

of the season,

and,

the trees begin

to bare

their branches,

something sad

and yet so beautiful,

which is

almost melancholic,

lingers in the air,

like the silence

and darkness

in the comfort

of the night.

October ends

and with it begins

the ending of

yesteryear's

iniquity, as

fresh torments

pave the path

for the approaching

winter winds.
