I bang open the jammed windows;

The room takes a deep breath.

The walls suffocated and turned blue;

Now they smile pink again.

The foul odour of tears are gone

As the warm Sun falls in.

A fresh Breeze swipes away the dust

From over the memories.

They are shining back

With the glazing floor.

The books, the bed, the half burnt candle;

Half done, half undone things.

The rust of Time, ready to eat

The nail on which I hang my Hope.

I await a new Season

And the ice of silence to melt away;

To unwrap my Wings and

Flutter them Loud.

It has Begun, my Heart

Has regained the Sound.
