Wildflowers

I made a small forest of my own

With huge pine trees speaking of my achievements

And cactuses telling stories of my heartbreak

Blooming flowers of my innocence

Huge apple trees with fruits of my hard work

Creepers reminding me of all those who have helped me climb up

Sunflowers of my loyalty to the Sun

Mosses an evidence of my love for the rains.

This beautiful creation

Of my sweat, dreams and desire

Oh it's such a pity

That it caught on fire

And all of it burnt down to ash

Each bush, every shrub and tree

But they say burnt grounds grow the most beautiful wildflowers

With time we will see.
