When the sea fell in love

“Why Tides exist?”

They say once, in the hush of dawn,

The Sea met the Sky and her heart was gone.

He painted blush on morning’s face,

While she swirled beneath in shy embrace.

He whispered winds, so light, so near,

And she would tremble - soft, sincere.

Each wave she sent was her reply,

To every glance he cast from high.

But fate was cruel to hearts so wide -

For Sky could never touch the Tide.

Yet still she rose, again, again,

To feel his warmth, forget her pain.

When he would fade to twilight’s hue,

She’d sigh - her waves turned pale and blue.

The world would watch her rise and fall,

Not knowing love had made it all.

For tides, they say, are hearts that yearn,

To touch what distance can’t return.

They teach us this - through love’s sweet art,

That closeness lives within the heart.

So when the ocean meets the shore,

Know - love still pulls forevermore.

And even if two souls can’t meet,

Their rhythm makes the world complete.
