WHY NOT

Why not we have a world where everybody strives to live on happily,

Why not we live in a world where everyone cares about everybody.

Why not we stand in a world where martyrdom is not forgotten in a day,

Why not we move out in a world where the poor is not traumatized every single day.

Why not during the time of Covid where buses arranged for those impoverished migrant workers to help them reach home,

Why not the people are open minded about mental health and depression,

Why not we have politicians who really care for the people and not regard them as a source to garner votes.

Why not we have a government that cares about the lives of people and not treat them as mere numbers and figures.

Why not in the world is opportunity given based on merit but given on the basis of which family you belong to.

Why not dreams of the poor and distressed are valued,

Why not have the Ram Rajya in reality when all of us proudly chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’ today,

Why not we have religious harmony and brotherhood amongst people today.

There are so many Why Nots in one’s mind but what is essential is,

Why not I be the change,

Why not I help the distressed,

Why not I value the thoughts of the depressed.

Why not I value the dreams of the destitute,

Why not I practice religious harmony,

Why not I show patriotism not just on the day of a mere cricket match but every single day.

Why not I shed tears on the death of a martyr and never let anyone forget it.

Why not I step up against the nemesis of our nation,

Why not I respect the nature.

Why not I be the change that I want to see.

Why not I be the person that I want everyone one to be.
