Why do you say, o child of a narcissist, Why do you say that no one loves you? There's no love greater than love of the self To be a part of someone's self is the deepest love for you. Why do you cry, o child of a narcissist? Why do you complain when the quarrels break out? Everything is done for your own sake, darling Don't be selfish and help your parent out. What do you mean, o child of a narcissist, When you beg for food when everything's on the plate Of course, this is what you love and want Have you gone to the market and checked the dish's rate? What do you scream at, o child of a narcissist? It's not that you don't know which clothes suit you the best These are the ones that make me proud, baby You want your parent happy, isn't that a good child's test? Why do you tremble, o child of a narcissist? You just have to keep up with all my ambitions Learn from my experience, I tell you, I'm knowledgeable I didn't win much but won't you finish my missions? Why do you run away, o child of a narcissist? All my deeds favour not only me You could have stopped me all the time Now, see, we're both forever partners in sin. The child of a narcissist looked up to the sky Of wronged people floating and passing by The ghosts spoke from the walls and the creaks Telling the child to abandon the beak Mouth of a narcissist never shuts Hearth from a home burning the huts So, the child licks knives instead of spoons Love served in a method of doom Hopes in poison vials of the past But there is something worthwhile present, at last Story of life keeps on moving ahead The child keeps living and the parent is dead.
