Who Wins?!

You may be happy, that you bowed the other down

And you did it all, just with one nasty frown!

That the other couldn't make you move, even a bit

How clever and right you've been, to use your wit!

But did you notice a disappointment in their eyes,

The resentment that they gulped along with sighs!

An inch by inch they moved away from you!

And you saw only their indifference in lieu!

You won that argument and had it your own way

Losing the person - your true asset - so to say!

Did you win then, or was it a loss all throughout,

Life will change on the day you figure that out!

In life be careful of who will win!

Is it your ego? or the closest of kin?!
