WHO AM I?

Am I a two legged creature,

Or a thoughtful human being

God knows who I am,

Do you think about such things?

When I look at the night stars,

Do they really twinkle?

Or is it a lady in a far away land,

Putting some sugar with sprinkles?

Once I went to the beach,

And saw the wide-wide sea

It was so big that it could,

Fit eighty thousand kgs of peas!

If humpty-dumpty had a great fall,

And London bridge was falling down,

How could humpty-dumpty did not crack?

And London bridge is up and back?

As a baby I would often touch the T.V,

And felt like going inside,

But that was hardly possible

It was not like eating a kiwi!

I think I could be more than just a human,

As humans are dangerously capable

Look at all the destruction around,

Was our world like this when found?

Could we all pause and think awhile,

could we not be loving, selfless and kind?

A bunch of canines once sheltered a human baby,

it’s all not that impossible may be!
