WHERE THE SOULS REST

Might be heaven or one below

Unfair, but we will never know.

The roads we’ll choose and where they'll go

Unless we are already through.

By that time, we will meet our fate.

We hope for it to come so late.

Should have cherished all that we ate.

Live all our lives through all the dates.

We’ll keep running forevermore.

Or at least be with one adored.

There’ll come a time, can't run, no more.

Surely, "Death" will knock on our doors.

For when it taunts, we can’t resist.

Regretful, but it ends like this.

All’s looking for the missing piece.

But me? I want the “Rest in Peace.”
