Where The Mind Is Full of Fear

Where the mind is full of fear, yet the head is held high;

Where news is one click away, but truth afar;

Where non-bonded connections stifle the wisdom of the ages;

Where promises come out from the depth of deception;

Where slurs and shells are hurled from narrow domestic windows of our fragmented world;

Where tireless striving stretches its arms toward capital sans value;

Where the clear flow of creation has lost its way into the quagmire of addiction;

Where symptoms are treated without healing the core;

Where the mind is led forward into an ever-widening thoughtless motion

While institutions crumble under the weight of inhumane hegemony;

Into this heaven of imprudent freedom, dear Gurudev, has our country awakened.
