Where Love Found Its Way Back

By Meghaa Mundhra

I heard the knock on the door and opened it to find him standing there, drenched in rain, holding a single red rose for me. His eyes, deep and sincere, met mine, speaking volumes in silence. Without a word, he gently tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, his touch sending shivers down my spine. The world around us faded as he whispered, "I've loved you in a thousand lifetimes, and in each, I find my way back to you".I smiled, my heart racing, knowing that in this moment, love had found its way home. He stepped closer, his breath warm against my skin, and whispered, "Let's write our own forever, starting with tonight". Then, with a shy grin, he handed me a delicate envelope, saying, "I poured my heart into these words, just like your way. Will you read it?"
