When I Found You

Have you ever felt this emotion we call love?

Well! I did and believe me it surely is tough

Sometimes it feels like a breath of fresh air

While other times it seems just too unfair

To understand what is love is still a mystery

Dive in deeper and you will realize it is nothing but a trickery

I believed all this until I found you by my side

A sense of calm in all these ocean tidesss

Your face shines brighter than the sunshine

All I can think of is what if you were mine

That gaze of yours intoxicates me to the core

As if I am the only one you were made for

The way you smile makes my heart flutter

Just how thousands of dandelions bloom together

Every time you walk in, I forget all my worries

Drowning in the warmth of your scent

Embracing you is all I want for my memories

It pains me to face this reality

That I love you, but you will never see

And even if I confess it, you will drift farther away from me

With all these feelings, I still cannot make you stay

But it is not my fault because I fall in love with you everyday.
